In class Wed Oct 15th

Questions about last weeks discussion with the visiting artist? Did they shake your tree?

Senior Thesis in Art
- the goal is to create one work of art that shows fine craftsmanship and a powerful aesthetic that is connected to and relays an idea.

- The idea can be anything from a political statement to portraying an emotion

- This art piece does not need to solve or answer every aspect connected to your idea. It should hone in on one important thought. Think broad then narrow in.

Self Promotion
- We are living in a time where "user generated content" is valued.  User generated content is basically individual creativity that has been put on public display. You can see how this overlaps with the basic concept of art which is to create and display.
